Being able to create content on YouTube is an opportunity that I feel extremely grateful to have and I take it very seriously.

In the creator space, every path is different which is why I feel that it is important to share my goals publicly. On this page, you’ll find my Creator Creed and my Ethics Statement. These two things have helped me define my purpose for creating content, uphold boundaries I have set for myself, and maintain clarity with what I am working to achieve.

Creator Creed

I am a YouTube creator by choice.

I proudly choose to be a part of the creator space that has revolutionized communication, connection, and collaboration.

I recognize my power to create and I will use this power to share my genuine enthusiasm for things that I love.

I will be an example of the potential and opportunity of being a content creator that is accessible to all.

I will be a content creator of honor and only create content that is positive and authentic.

I will eagerly advocate for the creator space and continuously learn more about it with wonder and an open mind.

I acknowledge that this path is ever-evolving and I will boldly discover and embrace the ups, the downs, and the unknown.

I will not let any one person, comment, or situation deter me from my purpose.

I accept the responsibility that comes with creating content online and I will always strive for integrity with everything I share.

I will respect my viewers’ time and the trust that my audience has placed in me.

I humbly and proudly create knowing that I am sharing something that only I can, that my voice matters, and that it’s fun!

Ethics Statement

Have an idea or opportunity? Want to work together in some way? Please read this first to see if we’re on the same page!

My Mission: To educate and empower people to utilize digital media to achieve meaningful goals. To be an example of a small business content creator.

My Purpose: To be the best YouTube coach that I can be. To help people share their stories and spark their potential. To create content that is helpful, empowering, inspiring, and uplifting.

Here are some additional points when it comes to working with brands.

  • My content is my own. I create and produce each video based on what I’m excited about and what I think will be relevant/helpful to my audience at the time.

  • My reviews are always as objective as possible and my opinions are always my own.

  • I do not submit previews of videos to anyone for approval or revisions. No exceptions.

  • I have full control over my content calendar. While I’m happy to work collaboratively when possible for scheduling, no outside party can pay or otherwise influence me in return for scheduling priority.

  • Just because a product is provided to me at no cost does not mean I will review it or feature it in a video. I do not make videos in exchange for free products or services.

  • I never work with Amazon resellers– only directly with trusted companies.

  • I do not review “preproduction” versions of products/software.

  • I appreciate when companies offer information about their products/services, but I will only include what I think is relevant and necessary.

  • I will work to seek answers for anything about a product/service that I don’t fully understand.

  • While it usually makes sense to include certain links in video descriptions or social media posts, I retain full control over what is shared on my accounts across all platforms.

  • The “includes paid promotion” option will be checked any time a video features a product or service that was provided at no cost, even if it’s not a '“traditional” sponsorship.

  • I’m more than happy to let others share my videos, as long as the post links directly to the original video uploaded to my YouTube channel.

  • I do not guarantee any number of views or any amount of audience engagement on any videos. While I want every video to do well, there are too many variables beyond my control for me to make any claims regarding potential viewership.

  • If I choose to work with a company, it will always be because I actually use the product or service myself and genuinely trust the company to provide excellent customer service and support. More importantly, I will always make it abundantly clear that such content is sponsored.

  • Offering free products in no way guarantees a positive review (or even a review/video at all). Just like with sponsorships, I’m extremely selective about accepting anything for free.

Thank you for taking the time to read and understand this. This probably doesn’t cover every possible scenario but I hope it conveys how highly I value the integrity behind what I do and my relationship with my community.
